A home inspection is a professional consultation service that determines the present condition of the home’s major systems, based on a visual inspection of accessible features. It focuses on the performance of the home, rather than cosmetic, code or design issues.
When to have a inspection
Using very precise measuring tools, we can test any dwelling to confirm the level of Radon present. This is a simple test but does require "closed house" conditions to ensure that readings are accurate.
What is Radon?
Radon is a radioactive gas that is odorless, colorless, and tasteless.
It is found in homes everywhere and the only way to be know its presence is to test for it.
Where Does Radon Come From?
Radon comes from the natural breakdown of uranium in soil and rock, and gets into the air you breathe. Radon typically moves into your house up through the ground. Your house acts as a vacuum pulling the gas inside through cracks and other holes in the foundation.
New York State doesn't mandate any uniform report. Seemingly it has left a lot of inadequate reports being handed out in the market, many of which are very unhelpful. My reports are pdf. format, they are printable or accessible anywhere to anyone who is allowed access to them. They have detailed pictures, diagrams, and explanations leaving no confusion for anyone. The software is state of the art and something I invested a lot into for my clients and realtors to make their lives a lot easier.
Home Inspections is a great avenue to help people by using and spread my knowledge from training and experience. I extend every effort to access everything throughout our consultation, I strive to have great communication with my customers and agents so everyone has confidence throughout the process. You shouldn't risk putting your trust into anyone other than a professional. I am a fully insured and certified inspector utilizing the top technology available today.
